Tim Minchin is an internationally-acclaimed comedian, musician, actor and writer. Darkside won him the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer in 2005, and since, audiences have been bowled over by his combination of technical brilliance and trenchant wit. Sell-out and critically acclaimed shows, such as Ready for This? and his biggest tour to date (with a 55-piece orchestra), were followed by writing the music and lyrics to Matilda the Musical (2011), which won seven Olivier Awards including Best Musical as well as multiple Tony awards and a Grammy nomination. Tim is a regular on shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 out of 10 Cats. He currently lives in LA and is working with the Matilda creative team on Groundhog Day the Musical, as well as writing and directing the upcoming Dreamworks film 'Larrikins'.
