Ian is an actor and writer, whose career has encompassed West End, the National Theatre, UK tours and included musicals, classical theatre and new writing.
His TV and film appearances include Doctor Who, Sherlock, Endeavour and Mary, Queen of Scots.
He is also an accomplished radio performer and pantomime Dame.
His writing work includes episodes of Poirot, and stage plays including his comedy ‘The Way Old Friends Do’, which ran in the West End in 2023.
He was nominated for a Best Actor Award in the Whatsonstage Awards for his performance in ‘The Boys in the Band’.
