Elif Knight is an award-winning actress and director based in London. At the age of 18 she was given the Patricia Rothermere/Evening Standard Theatre Award in a joint award with Sir Richard Attenborough who personally selected her.
She formally trained at the Rose Bruford Drama school and worked alongside Jack Waltzer from the Actors Studio for 10 years, attending workshops in London, Paris.
Elif has an accomplished and varied acting CV across TV/film, theatre and radio. Her recent credits include Gangs of London (HBO), Into The Badlands (AMC), and No Return (ITV). She has worked as a theatre director at several venues across the UK and Ireland. Notable projects include - H.G. Wells' The Crystal Egg at The Vaults Theatre, Grounds for Concern at Croke Park stadium in Dublin, and most recently at Lauderdale House directing a comedy entitled Polite Conversation. Elif has also written and produced a mockumentary called London Stream.
ELIF is currently pitching a comedy TV series she co wrote called MissCast, a satire about mistaken identity .
