Alexa Chung is a globally recognised fashion icon, designer, writer, and broadcaster. Her unique style pairs effortless glamour with a distinctively dry, British, sense of humour.
This year Alexa fronted a special history show about the new Sky drama Mary and George, exploring the social culture behind the extraordinary true story of Mary Villiers, courtier of King James I.
Alexa started her TV career as a key member of the T4 presenting team. She’s fronted various fashion and arts programmes. While living in the US Alexa presented It’s On With Alexa Chung for MTV, 24 Hour Catwalk for Lifetime and Gonzo With Alexa Chung for MTV Rocks. She also co-hosted for the nightly music show Fuse News.
Alexa joined Queer Eye’s Tan France to co-host the Netflix competition show Next In Fashion in 2020 and has presented several online documentaries for Vogue UK. She has also created hours of original content for her YouTube channel.
Following on from her successful column for The Independent newspaper, Alexa was made a contributing editor for British Vogue. She also writes for The Financial Times Fashion pages. Her debut book IT published by Penguin is a ‘refreshingly down-to-earth’ style journal.
First scouted by a modelling agency at Reading festival when she was 16, Alexa has since been a model and a muse for countless fashion brands and designers. Alexa launched her namesake brand, ALEXACHUNG, in 2016, earning her the Harper’s Bazaar Breakthrough Designer Award. She won the British Style Award, voted for by the public, at the British Fashion Awards three years in a row. Alongside her work as a designer, Alexa is an ambassador to The British Fashion Council.
